This movie, the first part of an informal trilogy with In the Mood for Love and 2046, marks the first collaboration between Wong and cinematographer Christopher Doyle, with whom he has since made six more films. The pamphlet features the movie’s impeccable and immaculate imagery, reflecting the vibrant colours particularly distinctive of that movie. Written in Japanese, it also includes a critique of the film, an interview with Wong, black and white staff profiles and a few scene lines along with their corresponding shots.
