28 Girls is the incredible debut book by Kishin Shinoyama, which cemented his reputation as a master of nude photography. This publication is regarded as one of the most important photography books of the 20th century as well as a landmark in 1960s nude photography. It marked the history of photobook publishing with its large-scale format, neat and iconic cover design, rich and colour-saturated images and spectacular fold-outs. Also with the incredible art direction is by Gan Hosoya and texts by Yukio Mishima and Makoto Wada.
