“Sculptures 1960/71” offers an overview of the diverse artistic practice of Diem Phung Thi (1920-2002), considered as one of the pioneering figures in modern Vietnamese art. Born in Vietnam, Diem Phung Thi moved to France in 1948 for health reasons, where she initially pursued her career as a dentist before dedicating herself entirely to art. She began practicing and studying sculpture, under Antoniucci Volti. Deeply inspired by the human body, Vietnamese culture and architecture, she went on to create around thirty public sculptures in France while exhibiting widely across Europe and Vietnam.

Unpaginated, 20 × 15.6 cm. Published by L’imprimerie Union à Paris in 1971. Softcover. In French. Condition: Very good.
